Mercy (Love Comes Again)
Love puts a different complexion on it,
So much so we can fall and then admit,
Losing ourselves I am gone once again,
With autumnal tide confides pure domain,
One-in-a-million still seeks the one,
That wonders alone like soft sounds of Sun,
Briefly-found and duly-bound mercy be,
Where love comes again through a valley tree,
More than we know invincible life play;
Performs and never conforms this fine day,
There’s no end for open hearts embracing,
The sky decorates homely Earth placing,
Light within for darkness perceiving cold,
Those beautiful days pave dreams thus told,
Of belief whence a golden age begins,
To let love’s fires ring out, everyone wins.
The horizon makes no claim beyond time,
Setting day’s hopes arise where spirits climb,
Breaking-through Souls reunite with season,
The departed need no other reason,
To be free and reunite love’s best mood,
One which invites a scene together viewed,
Innocence inhaled with such warm recall,
Breathlessly teasing evening’s curtain call,
Is this the victorious time to choose?
Or be engulfed by flames romantic muse,
Sweeping emotions that breeze-by keenly,
A place settles each step made serenely,
Meadows cushion the feeling awoken,
From autumn’s unmade bed love has spoken,
And here layeth years that relive when switched,
Onwards and upwards this World so enriched.
